Aid Ukrainian Refugees through a Ultimate Foodie Raffle

Independent restaurants and producers across Scotland have pooled together to support the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal by means of a foodie raffle. So far, the raffle has raised over £4,100, meaning that they have nearly hit its £5k target! The raffle is closing this Friday at 9am, so you have just a couple days left if you want to contribute towards providing much-needed emergency food for 100 Ukrainian refugee families for a month (and have the chance win a foodie treat!). Tickets cost £10 each and are on sale here.

The raffle provides an opportunity for foodies to win some fantastic food and drinks prizes and experiences, all whist supporting the humanitarian aid appeal in Ukraine. Sebastian Kobelt, award winning Linlithgow-based chocolatier who has been involved in organising the raffle, said:

“Sincere thanks to all of the restauranteurs and food and drink producers who have supported the raffle with prizes. We’re absolutely delighted with the funds raised to date and are hoping for a last minute push this week to meet our £5,000 target, which would provide emergency food for a month for 100 refugee families who are fleeing the war in Ukraine.”
