COP26 Food & Drink Guide launches

The definitive guide to food and drink during COP26.

The 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference, or COP26 as it's more commonly known as, will certainly be drawing both headlines and visitor numbers from the end of this month.

Being held at Glasgow, Scotland from 31st October to 12th November, it aims to bring the nations of the world to Scotland in order to work towards the goals made at the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.

With such a monumental influx of visitors heading to Scotland, many will be unsure as to where to eat and visit during their stay. However, Taste Magazine aims to fix that very problem.

Available in the special digital edition of Taste Magazine, our COP26 Food & Drink guide feature will cover a range of fantastic eateries to try out in both Glasgow and Edinburgh. Whether you love local Scottish produce, Italian, sushi or an afternoon coffee, there is something for everyone's tastes.

To run alongside this special COP26 edition, we are pleased to launch COP26FoodandDrinkGuide.com which will host online directories for both cities, helping you pick the best places to eat during your visit.

Sean McMahon, Publisher of Taste Magazine Scotland added "Hopefully, COP26 gives the hospitality industry the boost it so desperately needs, it also gives the opportunity for food and drink producers and opportunity to reach international visitors, world leaders, local residents and those who care about our planet, via Taste Magazine which will be distributed online, free whilst the event is being held. This special edition will highlight some of Scotland's best sustainable food, drink and hospitality businesses whilst giving a preview of the Winter edition. We'll be printing our Winter edition following the event as normal which uses FSC certified paper that is Climate Neutral and we go a step further by also ensuring we assist with the planting of new trees every month."

"The new website will be the first step in the launch of our new sustainability features that you're going to see in the magazine. We touch on this in the last issue but will now be expanding this due to the importance it plays in everyone's lives."
