New ales hit Scottish shelves

Tuesday 26th April marks an exciting day in the growing partnership between Lidl and Stewart Brewing, with the Scottish supplier launching a brand new and exclusive line of craft beer at the supermarket.

Beinn Brewing is crafted in homage to Scotland’s scenic landscape, with the range consists of three tropical pale ales that are perfect for Spring-time sipping. The bold and bright beers - including Beinn Hazy, Citrus Belter, and Tropical Trossachs - are set to land on Lidl shelves across Scotland from today, with prices starting at £1.59.

Beinn Hazy is a full-flavoured yet easy drinking New England IPA, with a super-soft pillowy mouthfeel that’s brimming with citrus and tropical fruit character including mango and papaya from the flavourful hops used; Citrus Belter is a Citrus Session IPA, dry hopped with big hitting US hops and conditioned with orange zest for a refreshing IPA; and Tropical Trossachs with flavours of sweet pineapple and ripe mango makes for an easy-drinking Tropical Pale Ale.

Paul McQuade is Head of Buying for Spirits, Beer and Scotland at Lidl GB. “Stewart Brewing is a long-standing Lidl supplier and we’re delighted to further cement our relationship with this permanent new beer range inspired by the breathtaking terrain of Scotland," he exclaimed. "At Lidl, we’re committed to bringing Scottish craft beer to consumers at great value prices and the Beinn Brewing range has been crafted to offer just that.”

Offering customers the chance to savour a flavour of Scotland from just £1.59, the ales will form part of Lidl’s core range and will be stocked exclusively across its 109 Scottish stores from the 26th April 2022. Cheers to that!
